The North County Detention Facility, located five miles north of Santa Rosa at 2254 Ordinance Road, can house 200 inmates assigned to the work crew. But most people are booked into the Main Adult Detention Facility, located at 277 Ventura Avenue in the Hall of Justice Complex. The facility can hold up to 790. The jail holds inmates arrested in all nine of the incorporated cities of Sonoma County including Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Healdsburg, Sonoma, Sebastopol, Cloverdale and Cotati.
